It is never too early to start thinking about your dental convention plans for 2022! Whether you want to attend in-person or virtually, here are some of the conferences any dental professional won’t want to miss.
Note: Event dates and information are subject to change. Please check ahead for COVID-19 protocol.
Rocky Mountain Dental Convention: January 20-22, 2022 | Denver, Colo.
Why not start 2022 with a wintry trip to Denver? The Rocky Mountain Dental Convention offers over 40 hours of in-person and virtual learning, as well as plenty of social events, exhibitors and CE opportunities.
National Oral Health Conference: April 11-13, 2022 | Fort Worth, Tex.
As an event for all who serve in dental public health, the National Oral Health Conference offers a multitude of seminars and opportunities to network. This year’s event will also include weekend workshops on April 9-10, 2022. If you have an interest in improving public oral health, this is the conference for you.
CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry: May 12-14, 2022 | Anaheim, Calif. & September 8-10 | San Francisco, Calif.
If you like options, CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry has you covered. The CDA hosts two events every year to allow dentists to learn and network with the dental community. Both offer a hybrid approach of in-person and virtual events.
AADOM Conference: September 8-12, 2022 | Scottdale, Ariz.
This event is tailor-made for the unique role the office manager plays in keeping a practice running smoothly. You will find courses in both professional and personal development, as well as opportunities for CE. And if you need some help convincing your supervisor to attend, AADOM offers a templated letter you can present.
ADA Smile Con: October 13-15, 2022 | Houston, Tex.
No matter what a dentist would like to learn more about, SmileCon has something here for everyone. Last year’s event also offered a robust virtual component, which will likely carry over into 2022. Next year’s event will also add the TDA Meeting and GHDS Star of the South Dental Meeting to the mix, making for three conferences in one place!
Mid-Continent Dental Congress: October 27-28, 2022 | St. Louis, Mo.
If you are looking for two days of CE courses in the heart of the Midwest, the Mid-Continent Dental Congress might be a good fit for you. There are also hands-on workshops you can attend—just make sure to check in advance to see what tools you may need to bring.
Greater New York Dental Meeting: November 25-30, 2022 | New York, N.Y.
The Greater New York Dental Meeting is so large (52,000 attendees in 2019), that it is divided into two different events. The meeting portion runs November 25-30, but the exhibit portion will start on November 27 and run through the end of the conference on November 30.
Don’t forget: This list offers only a sampling of what’s to come for 2022! Head on over to the ADA Calendar and see what is coming to a city near you.
